Dr. Ekta Sharma is a Board Certified Family Physician and has a private practice in Diamond Bar CA. She has completed her residency training from Hackensack-Mountainside Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in New Jersey. 

 

Her dedication to her education, patients and medicine has earned her the most prestigious award in residency, Martin Gold, MD Humanitarian Award. This award is given to one graduating resident who has represented the 3 ideals (Compassion, Science and Humility) of Dr. Martin Gold M.D. She was also awarded a scholarship for the best research project in her residency. Her research project proved the disparities that exist in English vs. Non-English speaking patients. During her residency training, she attended health fairs, conferences and advocated for good health despite a rigorous schedule of a residency program.

She thoroughly dedicates herself to her patients and therefore, she understands the difficulties that a patient encounters with the health system. She tries to do whatever it takes to help her patients because that's what really matters. Patient centered care is the best practice and the only way to practice.
